Many people still believe that a photograph will steal their soul or can allow a person holding the picture to have magical power over them. I love taking pictures. Although I do not believe that the picture will allow someone to have magical power over the person in the photograph, or that the photo actually steals part of the soul, I do believe that photography “steals” snippets of time forever (or as long as the photograph lasts.)
Photographs can be very powerful. They can show intense happiness and sadness, sometimes at the same time. This is why I love taking pictures. One can forever remember a loved one, a favorite pet, a very special time in their life, or a special place all because of a picture.
